At the craft fair last weekend I sold a green and grey hat. These are the ones I have left. Thinking about adding them to my collect. I have a feeling it's going to be a cold winter in Minnesota.

So I promised pictures and didn't follow through. It's been a crazy week. I found out the contracting position I was hoping to get some extra months out of will be ending at the end of the month. I really got excited about the position and now need to look for other options. Luckily I have gotten some interest in my baskets and hope to sell quite a few of them through family this weekend. I'm still going to put some pictures of the baskets and some other things I'm starting to get into, since the craft fair is done and gone. I'm think of doing a bubbly baby sack out of the purple Caron yarn. People loved the yarn when I used it with my hats I make. It's really a pretty, soft yarn. I'll try to add more pictures. Stay tuned...

Well, I wouldn't say my first craft fair was a total success, but it was definitely an experience. I got a lot of good ideas and advice from MANY. I sold some of the baskets, hats and baby stuff. I also got to see a lot of family and friends who came out to support me and other friends at the show. The support was amazing and I want to thank everyone who took the time to drive all the way up to Blaine, MN on a precious Saturday morning/afternoon. I hope today to put up some of the items that didn't sell and offer them for sale at a December discount. Pictures to come!

So my mom is totally into knitting and has been making hats for a hospital in Fargo, ND. I told her about the craft fair and she totally went crazy making things for it. Here are her booties and hats, including some dishcloths.
So I don't know how to catch everyone up on what I have been up to. I guess I have been getting ready for the craft show I'm participating in this weekend. It took be Forever to figure out what to do for the show and how to make my stuff sellable. So here are a few pictures of what I've been doing. I've been making these cool baskets. It takes about 2 and a little extra skeins for the large and 1 and 1/4 skeins for the small ones. Let me know if you want the pattern and I can connect you to the true designer. I've also been making some of the hats that I posted earlier.

I thought I would show you what I have been up to the last couple days. I've been pretty busy with house selling stuff, we just got a new deck, that I haven't had much time to do much crochet. I wanted to make a runner that would look rich and was easy to make, so this is the start. I've put about 3 skeins of yarn into it so far. I think I have at least 2 more to go.

So I need to apologize for the quality of these pictures. I had to take them on my old camera because we have to rent our lenses for the Canon 5D and I didn't have one available for these pictures. I wanted to show you the other baby cacoons that I put together this summer. The one on top is a solid green baby yarn with yellow border. The second one is going to be a baby shower gift for a friend of mine that's due in October. For this one I took the green and yellow and changed the color with each row. I think it looks pretty good!
